AMTA to Hold Technology Transfer Workshops

The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) will be holding two technology transfer workshops on membranes this fall in Sacramento and Kansas City.

On September 27-29, AMTA/SWMOA will be holding a Technology Transfer Workshop “Membrane Applications are the new ‘Gold Rush’ in CA’s Capitol City” at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sacramento, CA.   Also, on October 31-Nov. 2, AMTA will be holding a Technology Transfer Workshop “Membranes: Going to Kansas City…Kansas City Here We Come” at the InterContinental Hotel in Kansas City, MO.

These AMTA technology transfer workshops will focus on membrane applications. Attendees will learn a basic overview of various membrane technologies including MF, UF, NF, RO, and MBR. Overviews of local membrane plants will be presented, including a facility tour of each plant. The workshops will also highlight several Membrane Case Studies, information regarding membrane applications and regulatory issues.
