EPA CREAT Webinar Training Starts October 12

EPA has announced the webinar dates for its Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT) training series.  This training is part of the Agency’s Climate Ready Water Utilities (CRWU) initiative to assist drinking water and wastewater utilities in conducting climate change risk assessments at their facilities.  EPA will be delivering its first free training on the CREAT starting Wednesday, October 12, with an additional eight webinars to follow throughout October and November.  The training will be presented in three different modules:

  1. CREAT 101, Introduction
  2. CREAT 201, Overview of setup and climate science information within the tool; and
  3. CREAT 202, Overview of the analysis and reporting functions

State drinking water program staff are encouraged to attend the training and pass this information along to their water utilities.  A flyer is included with this email for distribution.

Please Note:  Registration is limited to 50 participants per session.  Efforts will be made to accommodate preferences for specific dates and requests for additional webinars.
