Plan Now for National Ground Water Awareness Week in March

Your help is needed to raise public awareness about groundwater.  Twelve years ago, the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) started National Ground Water Awareness Week to educate the public about the importance of groundwater and water well stewardship.  One very important reason for such stewardship is to protect public health by protecting groundwater quality and reducing risks to potable groundwater supplies.

Please join NGWA in this effort to promote Ground Water Awareness Week by spreading the word through your web site, timely newsletter publications, social media, or other education and outreach activities.  Please borrow the useful information and materials provided on NGWA’s web site at Ground Water Awareness Week Web page and Wellowner.org.  NGWA encourages promotional partners, if they wish, to customize messaging and content for Ground Water Awareness Week to best fit their priorities (such as emphasizing the importance of regular water testing by private well owners).
