EPA Publishes New Water Security Funding Tool

FedFUNDS (Federal Funding for Utilities – Water/Wastewater – in National Disasters) is the latest in EPA’s suite of tools designed to help utilities be better prepared and more capable to respond and recover, should a disaster strike.  FedFUNDS looks at the ways that water utilities can identify funding sources; know how to describe and document activities that may be eligible for Federal funding assistance; learn about FEMA, USDA, and EPA funding programs; and take advantage of training and funding mentor opportunities dedicated to utility needs.  You may learn more about FedFUNDS on EPA’s website at: http://water.epa.gov/infrastructure/watersecurity/funding/fedfunds/index.cfm.
