EPA to Host Webcast on Newly Published Containment Support Guide

EPA’s Water Security Division has just published “The Containment and Disposal of Large Amounts of Contaminated Water: A Support Guide for Water Utilities.” You are invited to view/download the guide HERE.

The guide provides recommendations primarily to drinking water, wastewater and stormwater utilities for coping with the aftermath of an all-hazard chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) contamination event.  Secondary users of the guide are decision-makers involved with planning and disposal at the federal, state, local and tribal levels.  Specifically, this guide serves as a reference document for preparation and response to a contamination event, when rapid decision making is needed.

To provide additional insight into the guide and share some of its practical examples for use, the Water Security Division will be hosting a webcast on November 13.  See below for details:
