EPA Co-Hosting Workshop for Tribes on Sustainable Management of Rural and Small Water Sector Systems

On April 10, 2013, EPA, United South & Eastern Tribes, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Indian Health Service are co-hosting a one-day workshop in Nashville, Tennessee for tribes on small water and wastewater utility management. The workshop is being held in conjunction with the 2013 Tribal Utility Summit. Workshop attendees will learn to identify management improvement opportunities at their utilities, how to approach improvements, and how to work more effectively with staff and the community to bring about priority management improvements. Workshop participants are encouraged to attend all three days of the Tribal Utility Summit, April 9-11, 2013, to be eligible for continuing education units. The cost to attend all three days of the summit is $100. Travel costs will not be covered.
