New York’s Drinking Water Program Distributes “Value of Water” Brochure

The New York Department of Health Public Water Supply Bureau has partnered with key representatives of the state’s water community to develop and issue a new brochure titled, “The Value of Water – What is it Worth to You?”  The brochure is being distributed, in celebration of Water Week (May 5-11, 2013), to stakeholders in both the drinking water and wastewater communities across the state.  Promotional materials include:

  • A letter from Roger Sokol, State Drinking Water Program Administrator and Bureau Director, to each public water system in the state outlining information about the brochure
  • The brochure (both hard copy and electronic) – http://www.syracusecoe.org/efc/sub.html?skuvar=251
  • ‘Dear Customer’ and ‘Dear Educator’ templates that utilities can use to share the brochure

We’ve included the letter and templates for your reference.  We’ve also learned that New York hopes to create a “fill in your state’s information” version of the brochure that can be shared and distributed across the Nation.
