American Public Health Association Webinar on How Environmental Public Health Tracking Assists in Providing Safe Community Water

On Thursday, August 8th from 1:00-2:15 p.m. ET, APHA is hosting the final in a three-part series of Environmental Public Health Tracking Program webinars co-sponsored by the American Public Health Association, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, and the National Association of County and City Health Officials.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Tracking Branch recently released new data with 36 new measures and six new contaminant profiles for community water.  These water data came from the 23 states that are part of the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network.  Presenters on the webinar will discuss how water data from the Tracking Network can help state and local agencies monitor and provide safe community water.  Presenters will also describe how the most common contaminants affect different areas of the country.  The link to the fuller description and registration is below.
