NGWA Webinars and Hotline Available for Household Water Well Owners

The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) is offering three free April webinars and a new hotline for household water well owners.  State drinking water programs may want to participate in the webinars and pass this information along to the general public.  All of the webinars will be held at 1:00pm (eastern time).

April 2nd, Groundwater Protection: How You Can Protect Your Well Water Quality
Registration linkIn this webinar, you will learn about some of the common causes of preventable groundwater contamination and actions you can take to protect your groundwater-supplied drinking water from contamination.
Presenter: Tom Christopherson is the program manager for Nebraska’s Water Well Standards and Contractors’ Licensing Program for the Department of Health and Human Services. A licensed water well drilling and pump installation contractor, he has more than 25 years of hands-on field experience, complemented by his 12 years in water regulation enforcement and inspection.

April 9th Water Well Maintenance: Where Do You Begin?

Presenter: Gary Hix is a registered geologist, certified well driller and pump installer, and immediate past president of the Arizona Water Well Association.

April 17th, Water Well Flooding: What Do You Do?
