Integrating Labs into Emergency Response

EPA is hosting a series of free tabletop exercise webcasts that examine the coordination of laboratory services in response to a drinking water contamination incident. The scenario-based exercise provides participants with the opportunity to answer questions based on their real-life experiences and knowledge of emergency response practices and procedures contained in the Water Laboratory Alliance (WLA) Response Plan (WLA-RP). There are two opportunities to participate in this web-based exercise:

DATES:         June 11 or July 16

TIMES:         10:00AM-Noon, eastern (June 11)
1:00-3:00PM, eastern (July 16)

This exercise features a scenario and facilitated discussion period similar to that of the tabletop exercise presented during the 2013 WLA Security Summit in Chicago, Illinois. This webcast series provides a great opportunity for those that were unable to attend the Summit to receive first-hand experience with the emergency response “best practices” and Water Security tools and resources presented in Chicago. We encourage you to share this training opportunity with others in your organization who may benefit from this training course.
