NDWAC Workgroup on LCR – Upcoming Meetings

The special work group of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) is continuing to meet to discuss various issues related to the long term revisions to the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR).  There have already been two meetings of the workgroup where states are represented by Derick Dennis of Washington’s Office of Drinking Water and June Swallow of Rhode Island’s Office of Drinking Water Quality.  In addition, state perspectives on lead and copper issues have been presented to the group by drinking water program representatives from Indiana and Nevada.  In the coming months the workgroup will meet again by webinar and in person as they work toward a final report in 2015.  The schedule for meetings in the near future is shown below.  All webinar times are Eastern and the face to face meetings will be in Arlington, VA.  More details on these events will be provided to states as they are released by EPA.
