EPA Small Systems Workshop

For the past several years, ASDWA has collaborated with EPA-ORD and EPA-OGWDW in convening a small water systems compliance technology workshop.  This year’s workshop will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 9-11, 2014.  These workshops started out several years ago as arsenic and inorganic contaminant treatment technology workshops, but they eventually morphed into workshops covering a wide array of technical issues associated with small system treatment technologies — for all types of contaminants.  The workshop is unique in that state drinking water program personnel have a chance to hear from and ask questions of true national experts on these issues.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.  Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For reservations, call (800) HILTONS or(800) 445-8667, or book a room online at https://aws.passkey.com/event/11499230/owner/2602/home.  If reserving by phone, you must mention the “EPA DW Workshop” or the group code EPA in order to receive the group rate of $127.00 for single-occupancy rooms and $152.00 for double-occupancy rooms plus 17.25% tax per night. The cut-off date for reservations within the group room block is Saturday, August 9, 2014.  Additional details about the agenda and meeting registration are available on the ORD NRMRL web page.
