USGS Releases GeoHealth Newsletter

Periodically, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) assembles a GeoHealth Newsletter that highlights the activities the agency is involved in related to environmental health.  It includes reports from research, sources of information, and links to the important work that USGS scientists are doing.  This issue contains a number of subjects that state drinking water staff may find interesting including: persistence of endocrine disrupting chemicals; mercury in streams; arsenic, chemicals, arsenic, and mercury in groundwater; chlorinated ethenes in public supply wells; and well pumping regime influences on water quality, among others.
