The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has just released their Environmental Health Newsletter which highlights various USGS studies and reports related to environmental health.  This issue covers a number of stream contamination concerns including Neonicotinoid Insecticides, Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals, and Chemical Mixtures.  On the groundwater side, the newsletter includes a report on groundwater quality (1991-2010) and the movement of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCPs) from septic systems into ground water.  There is also a case study on produced water from hydrofracturing, among others.
