EPA Lead and Copper Rule Series to Start on May 11

EPA is hosting a 3-part webinar series discussing the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR). Part one of the webinar series will be held twice – first on May 11th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm (eastern) – and repeated on May 18th from 2:30pm – 4:00pm (eastern).  This first webinar will cover lead and copper Federal requirements, health effects and sources, monitoring requirements, 90th percentile calculations, requirements to inform the public, and requirements related to treatment changes and new sources. The webinars are open to states, primacy agencies, tribes, community planners, water systems, academia, and those seeking further explanation of the Lead and Copper Rule.
