Online Resource for Water Industry Infrastructure

SplashLink.com is an online resource for the water industry that has recently come to our attention and that we wanted to let ASDWA Weekly Update readers know about.  This resource connects project and bidding opportunities as well as grant and financing opportunities to key players in the market.  It was created specifically for the water industry and its services support drinking water, wastewater, source water, remediation, and storm water applications, among others.

Most of this company’s customers are solutions buyers or sellers that fall into four main categories: Consulting/Engineering firmsSuppliers and Solutions Providers, Municipalities and Utilities, and New Technology companies.  Anyone who has a water-related challenge, process, research or solution-oriented agenda can potentially benefit.  Program managers from agencies that provide funding may post directly on SplashLink.com to provide greater access to their opportunities and gain greater response from potential recipients in need.  State DWSRF offerings may already be posted by the SplashLink.com site administrators but states may want to post other funding opportunities themselves.

Posting of information on SplashLink.com is free and instructions on how to do so can be found on the following video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8o_ytuvBvsI  Users searching for funding pay a fee but the company is also open to providing free subscriptions to communities in crisis.  The attached one-pager provides more details as does the website itself.  If you’re interested in learning more about how this resource could work directly with your agency, please contact Jason Wuliger at jasonw@splashlink.com or 440-497-0047.
