Position:  Environmental Specialist in the Water Quality Bureau

The position will conduct environmental reviews for State Revolving Fund (SRF) water and wastewater infrastructure loan applicants, including coordination with related state and federal agencies to ensure project compliance with related agency permission, clearances, or permits as necessary. The position will consult with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) on their review of all projects in order to determine potential impact on historical and cultural properties, and to then obtain appropriate clearances for project implementation.  The position will prepare file search requests from, and consult with, the Office of State Archeologist (OSA), and if needed, will prepare and manage the scope of work to be contracted to OSA, or other archeology consultants, if field work investigation is required.
