Water Fluoridation: Principles and Practices Course

A course entitled, “The next Water Fluoridation: Principles and Practices” will be held February 7-9, 2017 in Sacramento, California.  The CDC Division of Oral Health provides training on the basic engineering practices, operation, administration, and management of a state fluoridation program for community water systems.  This course is designed primarily for state-employed engineers, fluoridation program managers, program administrators, and specialists involved with state water fluoridation programs.  However, other personnel such as state and water utility staff involved in drinking water systems, state dental directors, and consulting engineers have benefited from this course.
The three-day training will be held from 8 am on Tuesday, February 7, through 12 noon   on Thursday, February 9.  An optional half day class on the Water Fluoridation Reporting System will be provided on Monday, February 6, from 1-5 pm.  See the attached announcement for more details.  If you are interested in attending this training, please submit a registration request using the attached form.
