WA Department of Health Has a Regional Planner Position Open

Washington state’s drinking water office is hiring a Regional Planner in their Southwest Regional Office near Olympia, Washington.  Reporting to the Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) and/or Regional Office Manager (ROM), this position administers the Office of Drinking Water’s planning program in an assigned region.  This involves being the lead reviewer and facilitating the review and approval process for water system plans, small water system management programs, and other planning documents.  This position also represents the department and acts as technical liaison with watershed planning units, local government, and Department of Ecology, and coordinates and provides direction to staff on water resource issues.
