EPA Schedules Four Webinars on Lead

EPA has scheduled four webinars on lead issues during the summer, starting on June 15th.  The June 15th webinar is the first of a three-part series of webinars on the existing Lead and Copper Rule (ICR).  The three LCR webinars are scheduled for June 15th, July 20th and August 17th, and all run from 3-4 PM EDT.
On June 21st from 2-3 PM EDT, another EPA webinar will “….highlight examples of efforts to reduce lead in drinking water in schools”. Lead in schools is becoming an increasingly important issue as more school districts begin monitoring within their buildings, and then have to figure out how to communicate the monitoring results and develop the appropriate remediation plans.  The June 21st webinar will feature Denver Water and Denver Public Schools.”.
These webinars will include a brief overview of lead in drinking water, best practices, lessons learned, challenges, and available resources.  Register for any or all of the four webinars HERE.
