ASDWA will host a webinar on Tuesday, September 26th from 1:00pm – 2:00pm (eastern) entitled, “Legacy and Emerging PFAS Challenges Facing Small Surface Water Treatment Systems in North Carolina.”  During the webinar, Dr. Detlef Knappe from North Carolina State University will present his research on both legacy (PFOA and PFOS) and emerging (GenX) PFAS in the Cape Fear River watershed and will summarize some of the challenges with analytical methods and treatment for surface water systems impacted by discharges from a Chemours manufacturing plant.
