Agenda Firming Up for ASDWA Member Meeting

Since it appears that a second partial government shutdown has been averted, several speakers have confirmed for ASDWA’s Member Meeting on March 25-27th at the Hilton Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia. David Ross, EPA Assistant Administrator for Water, has confirmed his participation for the opening session on Monday morning, March 25th.

Please note the Member Meeting is for states and EPA only, plus invited guests. This year’s agenda will cover a range of topics for state drinking water program administrators and their staffs including discussions on the new Congress, lead, emerging contaminants, Legionella, implementation of the new America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA), workforce and partnerships, water reuse, and more. AWIA has over 25 sections (see below) that impact drinking water, so developing an understanding of its implementation will be critical for primacy agencies. Please visit ASDWA’s website to register and reserve a hotel room. The ASDWA room block at the hotel closes on March 4. Please plan to join us!
