National Governors Association Releases Principles for National Infrastructure Investment

The National Governors Association (NGA), the nonpartisan organization of the nation’s 55 governors, has published their Principles for National Infrastructure Investment. The principles promote infrastructure investment in transportation and community design, natural resources and resiliency, and technology and energy innovation. NGA calls on Congress and the Administration to:

  • Ensure dedicated, long-term funding for infrastructure and states,
  • Invest in all infrastructure, not just surface transportation,
  • Streamline project delivery through increased transparency and reduced approval times, and
  • Innovate to achieve resiliency, security, and efficiency.
