Free Webinar Series on Chemical Contaminant Rules from EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Ground Water and Drinking water is hosting a free webinar series.   The three-part webinar series will provide an overview of the Federal Chemical Contaminant Rules (IOCs, VOCs, and SOCs) under the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations.

  1. May 16, 2019      Part 1: Overview. Provides a summary of the 65+ chemical contaminants and associated health effects covered under these rules.
  2. June 20, 2019      Part 2: Monitoring and Compliance Determinations. Discusses the standardized monitoring framework used for the chemical contaminants and compliance determinations.
  3. July 25, 2019       Part 3: Waivers, Reporting, and Recordkeeping. Addresses the use of monitoring waivers for chemical contaminants and the required reporting and recordkeeping for public water systems and state primacy agencies.

 All webinars will be held at 1:00-2:30 pm EDT

The webinars are intended for state and federal drinking water program staff, technical assistance providers, and water system operators interested in learning more about the Federal Chemical Contaminant Rule requirements. The webinars are free and open to the public.
