Registration Open for 16th Annual EPA Drinking Water Workshop: Small Systems Challenges and Solutions

Registration for the 16th Annual EPA Drinking Water Workshop: Small Systems Challenges and Solutions has opened (click here). This year’s free Workshop, sponsored by EPA’s Office of Research and Development and Office of Water in partnership with ASDWA, will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 24-26, 2019. The Workshop will provide in-depth information and training on various solutions and strategies for handling small drinking water system challenges. State personnel responsible for drinking water regulations compliance and treatment technologies permitting are the primary audience for this Workshop; however, system owners and operators, local and tribal government personnel, academics, design engineers, technical assistance providers, and consultants are encouraged to attend. The main focus of the Workshop will be on drinking water distribution monitoring and treatment topics.

For those interested in giving a presentation, leading a training or breakout group, or presenting a poster, this year proposals from the public will be accepted. Proposals must be submitted by May 31, 2019. The workshop planning committee will review proposals and send notifications by June 28, 2019.
