CDC/ATSDR Announces Recipients for PFAS Multi-Site Health Study 

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (CDC/ATSDR) has published a media announcement with the recipients its PFAS multi-site health study. The awards will go to a variety of institutions to look at the relationship between PFAS exposure in drinking water and certain health outcomes in communities in Colorado, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York and California. The study seeks to enroll a total of 6,000 adults and 2,000 children to help communities and governmental agencies make decisions about how to protect public health and prepare individuals to address their health needs.
