Senate Sends Stop-Gap Funding to President Trump for Signature

Yesterday, the U.S. Senate passed a seven-week continuing resolution that would keep the government running until November 21st. The CR would fund federal agencies at the 2019 levels until the House and Senate pass and negotiate appropriations bills for fiscal year 2020. President Trump is expected to sign the measure by September 30th.
