Register for ECOS’ 2020 STEP Meeting: Partnering on PFAS

This year’s 2020 ECOS State Environmental Protection (STEP) Meeting theme is Partnering on PFAS. The meeting will take place on the afternoons of July 29 and 30 from 12:30-4:45 PM ET. This virtual policy summit will explore how state and federal regulators and a variety of other stakeholders are coordinating to combat PFAS contamination.

This year’s STEP meeting will provide a unique forum for state officials, federal governmental agencies, business and industry, nonprofits, and others to offer their unique perspectives on addressing priority and/or emerging environmental issues. Highlights include a keynote presentation and virtual book signing (more details to come) from Robert Bilott, author of “Exposure: Poisoned Water, Corporate Greed, and One Lawyer’s Twenty-Year Battle Against DuPont”, as well as state and federal panels, and lightning round presentations from an array of professionals to dive deep into issues pertaining to PFAS in different media, AFFF, wastewater and biosolids, and risk communication. The meeting will end with breakout room discussions on how to coordinate our efforts moving forward.
