EPA Recognizes 2020 DWSRF Projects for Excellence

Through the AQUARIUS Recognition Program, EPA nationally recognizes DWSRF-funded projects for exceptional focus on sustainability and protection of public health that exemplify the high level of innovation possible with the DWSRF programs. For a DWSRF project to be eligible for the award, it must meet three criteria outlined in the Safe Drinking Water Act: address the most serious risk to human health; is necessary to ensure compliance with the SDWA; and assist systems most in need, on a per household basis, according to State-determined affordability criteria. Congratulations to the 2020 awardees!
