Virtual NEHA & NSF Legionella Conference Next Month

The 2021 Legionella Conference, hosted by NSF International (NSF) and the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) will be a virtual Special Session from March 9 – 10, 2021.

The two-day session will focus on how managers in health care, water utilities, manufacturing, cultural institutions and hospitality, as well as health departments and regulators, can better respond to water-related challenges during a pandemic or major health crisis. Since prolonged closures or low occupancy of industrial, commercial, educational and other types of facilities can significantly increase the risk of pathogen growth in plumbing systems, it is important that attendees know the value of emergency plans and how to adapt water safety practices to prevent these avoidable public health hazards.

The Legionella Conference website has more detail on speakers, topics, and registration: https://www.marchsession.legionellaconference.org/.   NEHA is providing up to 18 CEUs for attending the event.
