Lee Zeldin Senate Confirmation Vote to Take Place January 29th

President Donald Trump’s nominee for Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will have his confirmation vote by the Senate today, January 29th. The nominee, former Representative Lee Zeldin of New York’s 1st congressional district, underwent his committee hearing with the Committee on Environment & Public Works on January 16th.

As acting Administrator of EPA, Zeldin would oversee a current workforce of over 16,000 individuals, 12 headquarters office, and 10 regional offices around the country. The final confirmation vote will take place at 3:30 PM EST.
