ASDWA announces Anthony DeRosa as new Executive Director, effective July 1st

The ASDWA Board of Directors has selected Anthony DeRosa as ASDWA’s new Executive Director, effective July 1st.

Anthony DeRosa – “I am honored to step into the role of Executive Director after 26 years of supporting ASDWA members’ collective mission of public health protection and ensuring safe drinking water is available to all. Throughout my time here, I’ve been dedicated to ASDWA’s growth and organizational transformation; successfully implementing projects to deepen member engagement, improving operations, strengthen team coordination, and expanding ASDWA’s profile within the sector. In this new position, I’m excited to continue that work advancing our mission as we aim to elevate ASDWA’s impact, secure the long-term stability of the Association, and contribute towards our members’ success. I look forward to working closely with the team, membership, EPA, and our sector partners as we embark on this exciting new chapter for ASDWA”.

Alan Roberson – “I am looking forward to working with Anthony during this transition and will do everything I can to ensure that he succeeds in his new role and that ASDWA maintains its role as the voice for state and territorial drinking water programs. After June 30th, I will be stepping down and assisting ASDWA in the role of Transition Manager for a couple of months to ensure a smooth transition.”
