EPA Gets Additional 30-Day Abeyance for Lead & Copper Rule Improvements Litigation
On Tuesday, July 1st, the Department of Justice filed a motion seeking a further extension of the abeyance on the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) for 30 days. The motion went unopposed by the American Water Works Association, the petitioner, and was thus granted. The Environmental Protection Agency will now have until July 31st to review the 2024 LCRI.
