Virtual Seminar on Drinking Water System Consolidation, Governance, and Equity in California

On Wednesday, January 31, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm (ET), the University of California Riverside will host a seminar with a virtual participation option on “Drinking Water System Consolidation Potential, Governance and Equity Implications in California.” During the seminar, Dr. Greg Pierce, the Director of the UCLA Water Resources Group, will talk about his published research that explores questions on drinking water system consolidation. The presentation will outline motivation and potential for consolidation using examples from Los Angeles and New York, and share a comprehensive analysis of the study findings. The seminar will close with implications for future research, policy, and advocacy on drinking water system consolidation.
