Employment Opportunity: Idaho DEQ Seeks SDWIS Coordinator

The Water Quality Division has an opening in the Drinking Water Program in Boise.  The State Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) Coordinator has primary responsibility for administration, decision making, and implementation of the state database.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of state and federal drinking water regulations and data management to prepare, analyze, and interpret reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain database integrity and ultimately program primacy with EPA.  Preference will be given to candidates who have experience interpreting, applying, enforcing, or ensuring compliance with the requirements of either the Safe Drinking Water Act or the Idaho Rules for Public Drinking Water Systems and state environmental rules.
