EPA Releases National Water Program’s FY 2012 Best Practices and End of Year Performance Report

EPA recently released the “National Water Program’s FY 2012 Best Practices and End of Year Performance Report.”  The report provides an overview of the progress made in FY 2012 toward the strategic targets and program activity measures described in the 2011-2015 EPA Strategic Plan and the FY 2012 National Water Program Guidance.  The report also includes descriptions of “best practices” demonstrating innovations in program implementation over the past year.   Among other findings, the report notes that, in FY 2012, 94.7% of the population served by Community Water Systems were provided drinking water that met all health-based standards.
