Room Block Closes Next Week for the 2014 Data Management Users Conference

Please make your room reservations now for the 2014 Data Management Users Conference (DMUC) the week of May 12th in Kansas City Missouri at the Intercontinental Hotel Kansas City at the Plaza.  Our room block closes today.
This year’s conference will again focus on the development of SDWIS Prime, the new state and EPA data system for drinking water.  We will start the week with some optional training on Monday afternoon and the full conference will run Tuesday, May 13th through Thursday May 15th.  The discussions at the DMUC will provide attendees with an opportunity to see the latest work on Prime and offer feedback, but to also influence the development work that remains to be done.  States will get a chance to discuss transition planning and consider how their states’ “interfacing applications” will work in the new environment.  Other current data management issues will also be covered during the week.  To maximize the use of our limited face-to-face time, ASDWA will hold some informational webinars the week prior to the conference.  These will be available to all states.
See the ASDWA Conferences web page for more information and to register and make hotel reservations.  The cost for the rooms is $129 per night and the cut off for our hotel room block is today, as noted above.  We hope you will join us for this important conference.
