Submit an Abstract for the International Symposium on Waterborne Pathogens

The American Water Works Association is requesting abstracts for their 2015 symposium on waterborne pathogens.  The symposium will be held on April 13-14, 2015, in Savannah, Georgia.  The sixth International Symposium on Waterborne Pathogens will provide a comprehensive forum for the exchange of up-to-the-minute information and cutting-edge ideas relating to the critical public health issue of water pathogens.
Abstracts are invited in the following areas:

  • Pathogen Risk Assessment
  • Detection Strategies
  • Distribution/Premise
  • Plumbing/Pipes
  • Water Reuse/Alternative Sources
  • Treatment and Removal
  • Outbreaks/Epidemiology
  • Regulatory and Compliance Issues
  • Opportunistic and Emerging Pathogens
  • New Issues/Other

The abstract submission deadline is July 30, 2014.  States may want to consider attending the symposium even if they don’t submit an abstract.  Follow the link above for more details.
