EPA Provides Training to Help Communities Prepare for Climate Change
As part of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, EPA recently released an online training module to help local government officials take actions to increase their communities’ resiliency to a changing climate. The training explains how a changing climate may affect a variety of environmental and public health services and includes successful examples of effective resilience strategies that have been used in cities and towns across the country. While this training is targeted for municipal officials, training for community leaders and members is planned to help neighborhoods become climate resilient.
