EPA Releases Report on Point Source Progress in Hypoxia Task Force States

EPA has just released the Report on Point Source Progress in Hypoxia Task Force States.  This document represents the first ever report addressing the extent of nitrogen and phosphorus monitoring and discharge limits for major sewage treatment plants within the 12 states comprising the Hypoxia Task Force (HTF).  These specific permit activities, along with other elements of the state nutrient reduction strategies, are designed to continue progress toward reducing nitrogen and phosphorus pollution in the Mississippi/Atchafalaya River Basin (MARB).  The following web site provides additional information:  Learn More.
