ASDWA Seeks New Executive Director

Jim Taft, ASDWA’s Executive Director, has announced his plans to step down from his position at the end of calendar year 2016.  Accordingly, ASDWA is seeking a new Executive Director and directs Weekly Update readers’ attention to the attached announcement.  A short version of the announcement is as follows:

  • Summary: This is the principal management position within the Association with primary accountability for the accomplishments and fiscal integrity of the organization.  The Executive Director oversees all of the organization’s day-to-day activities; works with the Board of Directors (“Board”) to determine the focus and direction of the Association; develops and recommends policies and approaches to the Board for approval; and is responsible for their implementation.  The Executive Director serves as a spokesperson for, and represents, the Association.
