Do you have experience in environmental engineering, working with federal or Washington State drinking water regulations, and are a licensed Professional Engineer? If so, the Department of Health, Division of Environmental Public Health – Office of Drinking Water has a position for you. We are searching for a dynamic, high-energy and committed public health professional to fill the position of Environmental Engineer 5 –Distribution System Engineering Specialist. This position is may be based in any ODW location.
Within the Engineering and Technical Services Section, this position supports the DOH mission by providing statewide environmental engineering and technical leadership to various programmatic teams, ODW Section Supervisors, and the regulated community including representing the Office as an authority in cross-connection control; distribution system design, assessment, and operations; disinfection byproduct and corrosion control measures; and as drinking water program technical liaison with federal, state, and local entities.
