Webinar on the Regulatory Perspective on Water Reuse
WateReuse is sponsoring a webinar on June 13 to consider regulatory programs that cover water reuse. As water reuse grows nationally, we need an appropriate regulatory framework to govern the process. Many states are struggling to develop their own plans. This webinar will allow you to learn from the experience of states that are already working on regulatory schemes. See the description and registration details below:
Developing Regulations that Grow and Support Water Reuse: The Regulator Perspective
When: June 13, 2018 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT
Communities across the country are increasingly adopting water reuse to address a diverse set of water resource management challenges. In the absence of federal policies on water reuse, states are taking the lead in developing regulations to support implementation and growth of water reuse. In this webcast, we will learn about the latest regulatory developments in four different states across the country at varying stages — from states with a long history of water reuse to states in the early stages of assessing reuse needs and strategy. Regulators from California, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Minnesota will discuss the latest developments in their states, including the regulatory approach, challenges and solutions, and next steps.
Fee: WateReuse Members: Free; Others: $49
