NALMS Publishes Special Source Water Protection Issue of Lakeline Magazine

The latest issue of LakeLine magazine, published by the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS), focuses on source water protection (SWP). NALMS recognizes that SWP is important, and in addition to publishing this special issue, has developed a white paper and position statement. NALMS is also a member of the national Source Water Collaborative (SWC). One of the featured articles by ASDWA and GWPC, as co-chairs of the SWC, highlights the need for collaboration among many stakeholders and working with agricultural partners, and shares information about the variety of SWC resources. Other articles in the issue focus on topics such as: protection of lakes and reservoirs; decision support frameworks to address water quality; forest conservation; and state and local SWP activities in Colorado, Arkansas, and New Hampshire.
