$600M Settlement Reached in Flint Michigan

File:Flint Water Crisis.jpg - Wikimedia CommonsThis week, a deal was reached between Michigan and Flint residents whose health was damaged by high levels of lead in the drinking water. Michigan will pay $600 million to compensate residents after the city followed state regulators’ advice leading to improperly treated water. The settlement was reached after more than 18 months of negotiations between the State and the Flint residents that filed suit.
