EPA Releases CWSRF Best Practices Guide for Financing Nonpoint Source Solutions
EPA has announced the release of its new “CWSRF Best Practices Guide for Financing Nonpoint Source Solutions” to help Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) programs address nonpoint source (NPS) water quality pollution. The CWSRF funding pot is growing with the new Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and EPA developed this guide to share best practices from states that have achieved success in this area. The guide suggests strategies and key elements needed to expand the use of CWSRF resources to address priority needs as specified in state NPS management program plans, and it identifies potential obstacles and how to overcome them.
