EPA Announces $14.1 Million for Environmental Justice Grants
EPA has announced $14.1 million funding for 133 grants through the Environmental Justice Small Grants (EJSG) and Collaborative Problem-Solving Cooperative Agreement (EJCPS) programs. Many of these EJ grants are receiving funds appropriated through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) for projects that address a variety of EJ issues, including water. The EJSG will fund 99 projects in communities in 37 states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico and the EJCPS will fund 34 projects in communities in 24 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
