CEQ to Host Series of Trainings and Listening Sessions on New Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool

Starting March 9, the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) is hosting a series of public listening and training sessions on the beta version of the new Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool. The training webinars are an opportunity for the public to learn how to use the tool and to engage with presenters who can provide technical support and address issues related to accessing and using the tool. The later series of listening sessions will enable the public to provide feedback on the beta version of the tool, including the datasets included and the methodology that the tool uses. The schedule of sessions are as follows:

Training webinars:

  • March 9th (4:00 – 5:00 PM EST)
  • March 10th (4:00 – 5:00 PM EST)
  • March 16th (4:00 – 5:00 PM EST)

Listening sessions:

  • March 22nd (4:00 – 5:00 PM EST)
  • April 15th (4:00 – 5:00 PM EST)

Registration is required to attend and those interested can sign up online. CEQ first announced the tool on February 18 and opened a 60-day comment period which closes on April 25.
