AAAS to Hold Webinar on the Environmental Justice Implications of PFAS Exposure

On November 29, the Advancement of Science’s Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (AAAS EPI Center) is hosting a panel of experts to discuss the scientific evidence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) exposure and sociodemographic factors, impacts on communities, and the implications for environmental justice. The AAAS EPI Center highlights that recent studies have shown that exposure to PFAS can vary with sociodemographic factors. Understanding these factors can help in assessing risk and better addressing community needs. The webinar will be held from 1-2:30 PM ET and is free and open to the public. Those interested can register here.
