EPA Establishes CCR Working Group under the National Drinking Water Advisory Council
EPA is planning a consultation later this year with the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) to seek recommendations on proposed revisions to the Consumer Confidence Report (CRR) rule that are required under the America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) of 2018. The Agency has formed a CCR working group under the NDWAC to provide initial recommendations that will assist the Council in providing advice and recommendations to EPA. EPA’s charge to the NDWAC, along with the members of the CCR Working Group, can be found here.
The Working Group will hold an orientation meeting today, Friday, August 6th, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. eastern time. The agenda for today’s meeting, and the dates for future meetings will be posted on EPA’s website here. All meetings will be virtual and will be open to the public to listen as observers.
